It was incredible in the heart of the city.

The apartment is beautifully furnished with a cozy seating area, making it perfect for relaxation and unwinding after a day of exploring. As a vegetarian/vegan, the kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave was a lifesaver for preparing our plant-based meals.

Personally, I found the tile/marble floor a bit cold underfoot. However, I understand that some people may enjoy the elegant and stylish touch it adds to the apartment.

We had a fantastic stay at Castle Apartment 1. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the castle. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owner even checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

Great views of the castle from here. And this place is just so convenient, with tons of restaurants, bars, and attractions nearby like Royal Mile and the Grassmarket. 😉

Castle Apartment 1 provided a cozy and warm environment, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city in the rain. the well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals, and the comfortable bedroom provided a great night's sleep. the sofa bed, although comfortable for one person, might be a bit of a squeeze for two. But the highlight was the fantastic view of the castle from the main living/dining room. the location was ideal, with everything within walking distance. the host also left coffee, tea, and breakfast items, a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this property to friends and family.

The view of the castle was amazing, and the staff kept us up to date with instructions. an absolutely fantastic stay with all the necessities like free wifi, electric kettle, cookware, and a flat-screen TV. No pets were allowed, and there was no smoking on site. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Managed to experience the thrill of a dial-up connection with the "free WiFi" and discovered a new spin cycle with the washing machine. The city views were great, especially when I squinted really hard.

Oh, how I missed the joy of lukewarm, unreliable showers and a dusty shampoo prison. Couldn't be happier that I had to bring my own towel.
